Offering Free Online, Curbside, and Delivery Ordering for Restaurants in Need

The virus and the wave of dining restrictions have wreaked havoc on your sales. We’ve heard from many restaurants and are heartbroken with most of the stories. Some places are closing entirely and not sure they will reopen. Most places are hanging on by a thread, laying off most of their staff and hoping this passes soon so they can start rebuilding what they lost. We’ve heard the best most places can offer their wonderful employees is letting them go so they can get unemployment, or starting a crowdfunding campaign to support them financially. The small businesses within the hospitality industry seem to be hit the hardest. Almost as if you’re being told the responsible thing to do is go out of business. Our hope and prayer is that this is not the case and we want to do what we are able to help you.

For as many as our small team and company can handle, we want to provide free online ordering and/or the ability to do curbside ordering/payments. We will build your menu online, bring you the proper equipment at no cost to you, and help train your staff as needed. If you do not have a website, we have a team that has volunteered to do this for you for free, absolutely no obligations or payment now or ever for any of this.

We have spoken to many restaurants and understand many of you are experiencing some or all of the following challenges:

1. You don’t have a way to take an order online without going through one of the 3rd party platforms that are consuming most, if not all, of your profit.

2. You have a way to take online orders but there are other fees associated with it that you are not sure how much longer you can continue to pay.

3. You do not currently have a website.

4. The delivery platforms (Uber Eats, Grub Hub, etc.) are hardly a solution as they are consuming most, if not all, of your profit with their delivery fees. We understand most of you are paying between 25-35% of the sale for these delivery platforms. They have waived the consumer delivery fee in an effort to push business to smaller restaurants, but they still plan to charge you their normal fees.

5. In an effort to avoid the fees from 3rd party delivery companies, you’ve pleaded with potential customers to call your location. This has resulted in an influx of phone calls, some of which you may miss.

6. Phone orders are time-consuming and you’ve just laid off most of your staff, the staff you do have you need doing other activities.

7. You’ve started to offer curbside service, but due to the phones being busy, some customers are unable to get in touch with you to tell you they are outside waiting.

8. You are not equipped with a mobile device that can take a payment or place an order curbside, resulting in wasted paper or lost tips.

If you are experiencing any of these challenges right now, please let us help you. Our hope is that all small businesses survive this crazy time. We want to look back and know we did everything we could to help those who needed it.

This is not a sales pitch. This is what we think is the best possible disaster aide our small company is able to provide our local hospitality community. We are a small company here in Atlanta, also trying to figure out how we’re going to provide for our families and those we are responsible to.

To be crystal clear, if you only use this to get you through this very rough time, that’s perfectly fine. There are no strings attached, no contracts, no “gotchas”. This is a time when we need to unite as a community and help each other.
